the little willow began with an actual little willow! willow is a german shepherd / alaskan husky mix and was adopted by taz jiwa, owner/ founder of the little willow, on may 20th, 2009.
in june of 2009, taz was on the search for a fourth of july collar for willow. disappointed with the selections and quality of the collars found in most retail stores, she decided she would make one herself.
